The success of a network can often be attributed to how well it adapts to change. The ability to improvise and improve without interruption to the service you offer your customers is an obvious benefit. That’s why, when it comes to decommissioning a site, it is important that you deal with a company equipped in all matters relating to the task. At mono, our experience across the UK has seen us carry out a large number of planned and reactive decommissions. Even when the reason for decommissioning is not your preferred choice, we will still look at how we might turn the situation to your advantage. |

There can be many reasons for decommissioning a site. The landlord may want to exercise his right to end the agreement and has other uses in mind for the land. There could be a site nearby offering better coverage or capacity to upgrade. The fact that Mono can successfully redeploy much of the original equipment is also an important consideration in assessing the cost effectiveness of a change in location.
As part of our decommissioning service, we can negotiate and work closely with the various interested parties. Whether exchanging notices with the landlord or liaising with the Local
Planning Authority, there can be as much going on in the background as there is actually on the ground. Our specialists are skilled in negotiating lease terminations and we can arrange everything from power disconnections all the way through to returning the station to a green field site whilst maintaining appropriate site safety at all times.
Throughout decommissioning, our Project Management team will ensure that guidelines are observed and timescales are met.Working closely with the sub-contractors, we will ensure the safe removal of all materials and structures.
Decommissioning is part of the lifecycle of a network. At Mono, it is our job to ensure that as your network adapts to change, we are adept at helping you make those changes.
